Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

NOTE: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Opened returns that do not meet ‘Unused Condition’ upon inspection are are strictly enforced and subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, or may be refused.

SKWOL® Darktide™ Polishers are covered by a 1-Year Limited Mechanical Warranty
Manufacturing defects or failures under normal use are fully covered.

14-Day Inspection Return Window
The Darktide™ Polisher may be returned within 14 days of delivery if it remains unused. The tool may be handled, inspected, and test-fit with pads without powering on or making surface contact. Opened returns that do not meet ‘Unused Condition’ upon inspection are are strictly enforced and subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, or may be refused.

All returns require authorization prior to shipment. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. To start a return, please contact us at info@skwol.us or call us directly at (786) 293-4903 for assistance and approval.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We don’t cover or reimburse the cost of shipping items back to us, but you’re welcome to use any carrier you prefer. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure your return arrives safely.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately at info@skwol.us if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
We stand behind all of our products. If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, we are here to offer support and guidance to help you produce the best results. We cannot accept opened or used items. 

By law, certain types of items cannot be returned, like flamible liquids or certain chemicals, perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us.

Shipping Insurance Terms & Conditions ($2.99 Option)

By selecting the $2.99 Shipping Insurance option at checkout, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Coverage

SKWOL Shipping Insurance provides protection for your order during transit and includes:

  • Loss: Package is confirmed lost by the carrier (UPS or USPS).

  • Theft: Package marked as "Delivered" by the carrier but not received.

  • Damage: Product arrives broken, unusable, or significantly compromised due to transit.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a replacement under this policy:

  1. Correct Address: The shipping address must be entered correctly at checkout. Orders with incorrect or incomplete addresses are not eligible.

  2. Proof of Issue: The customer must provide photo evidence of damage, written denial from neighbors or household members (for theft claims), and/or carrier confirmation in cases of loss.

  3. Filing Deadline: Claims must be submitted to us within 7 calendar days of the carrier’s “Delivered” status or estimated delivery date.

  4. Investigation Process: SKWOL will review the claim and may:

    • File an investigation with the carrier

    • Request a signed affidavit affirming non-receipt (for theft claims)

    • Require cooperation with local authorities if fraud is suspected

Exclusions

Shipping insurance does not cover:

  • Orders marked “Delivered” but left in insecure locations without theft deterrents (e.g., porch, mailbox, lobby) unless secure delivery was requested.

  • Minor cosmetic damage (e.g., dented box) that does not affect product functionality.

  • Delays in transit not resulting in confirmed loss or damage.

  • Packages stolen after confirmed delivery inside a secure area (e.g., inside a home, garage, or mailbox with key access).

Replacement Policy

If your claim is approved:

  • A one-time replacement will be sent free of charge to the original shipping address.

  • No refunds will be issued under this policy—replacements only.

  • SKWOL reserves the right to deny claims that show patterns of abuse or lack reasonable supporting evidence.

Fraud Prevention

SKWOL takes fraud seriously. Any suspicious or repeated claims may:

  • Be denied

  • Result in removal of eligibility for future shipping insurance

  • Be reported to the appropriate authorities
